What faithful little servants
Are all these quiet keys
Though I oft abuse them
Loyal they will always be

I push them down
And yet they, right away, get up
Defiantly resuming their task
Daring me to strike them again

There are no sick days
No lunch or coffee breaks
No one-week vacations
Yet still in line they stand, unwavering

Such tiny angels
Pushing against my oppressive fingers
Simply telling me in one silent motion
You will not triumph here

Oh how mean I am to these little keys
And so fearful I've become
Of when they'll finally have enough
And rise up against my hands

Stay metal!
