Early morning Saturday,
Must be eight or nine
I am kinetic and fanatic
For a zaftig flame of mine.

I watch her till I’m catatonic,
I’m on cloud nine.
I say, “My love’s platonic,
I say, “My name’s Teflon,”
She’s coquetting, I’m supersonic,
To my gorgeous Miss Yvonne.

I asked Jambi, Dotti, Chairry,
They live on Sunset and Vine:
“She loves Chocolate, liqueur cherry.”
I showered her with flowers,
I became her Valentine.

I took her from PeeWee Herman,
On TV to everyone
I said “We are the couple,
Me and Miss Yvonne.”

Gracefully she answered: “Hello, Teflon,”-
My queen, she’s so delicious.
I keep her on a throne,
I love when she’s capricious,
My lady Miss Yvonne.

On Rodeo I buy her dresses,
Her leash a mobile phone
My gym’s on Venice Beach
She loves my muscle tone.
She speaks, she charms, she dazzles,
Oh, my classy Miss Yvonne.

Teflon's Yvonne
'Swap his mon to buy Yvonne what she need-o,
Son-of-a-gun we'll have big fun on the bayou!'

I like the fresh air this poem breathes, Teflon. I picture your Yvonne as someone like Reese Witherspoon, I dunno if you like her.

Peter, who's Reese Witherspoon?
Maybe I like her, in the context of being as elegant as THE Miss Yvonne.

The originality of these rhymes made me smile. I am so damn prejudiced against rhyming poetry that I can't believe you actually made me enjoy this. Good job.

Happy to entertain Saratin
I am prejudiced too, against conceited and preaching rhyming. I try to be naughty.

Teflon's Yvonne
Reese W starred in Legally Blonde I and II. As a child actress, she appeared in Man In The Moon. Very pretty if not as pretty as your Yvonne!

Reese With A Spoon
Did a Yahoo Image search. The face is familiar. Pretty, though far from the 50's glamorous look of Miss Yvonne.

Your Yvonne the Sweetest One
O, yeah! I'd like to meet your sweet Yvonne. Again thanks for this nice poetry, did I say I like the style of rhyming too? Is there a particular name for this form?

If you watched her
If you ever have been a PW Herman addict, you would have picked up the playfulness of the show and created a song about someone there, or Miss Yvonne. No name for the form.
