An End to Aeons

Delayed and decomposed is my strangled blue sky
Which father told his son to shine?
When knowing fully the glow would be smothered
In scaling the fluorescent empyreans

Even stars fall with the leaves
Even gods leave eventually

A war waged upon this house
A curse upon yours and mine
Until the day’s stretched to absolute frailty
Ready to break at the icy whisper of
Her Majesty, the moon
Her Highness, the anemic porcelain
Even she will drown in the gaping mouth of Death
The Void
