We’re never who we try to be,
Every morning, a new face for a different day.
Maybe a new approach will make her proud?
In the end I find it to be the same.

All alone,
You learn to cry,
Starving to be someone else.
Without a doubt,
You hate your life.

Happy faces and lying laughter,
Underneath you die.
Why can’t you learn to be one?
One person with one love.

Your torn,
Between two people in one body.
Who you are,
And who you shouldn’t be.
Open up,
Let out the fear,
let loose the anger in you.
Be who you are.

Wow! I really liked this. This one verse especially got to me:

"Your torn,
Between two people in one body.
Who you are,
And who you shouldn’t be."

Loved it!
