this piece probably belongs under another section (other than poetry), but i couldn't quite figure it out.
A marvel is seen miles away from where I live.
We claim its possession,
But generations have passed never having experienced its soothing sweetness.
And up till this day, people decline shouting for their right to own it.
Since when have people become so reluctant?
What law ever stated that one man with his ignorance should control the fate of millions of others?
Why should that man enjoy life while we pay for his stupidity.
Will I ever get to savor the sweet taste of democracy?

Unfortunately, true democracy does not exist in this world. Great poem, straight to the poem. I suppose you can apply to life at home and to the more obvious places, governments!! Great job.
