The world is having a party,
But am I invited…no,
For the world is now divided
Into high and into low.

I watch them as they gather,
They think I'm dying to go,
A part of me says "of course you do"
The other part says no.

A part of me so naïve and forgiving
Willing to give up and give in,
The other part so reluctant and stubborn
Screaming "I'll never let them win"

As I fight to decide which way to go
I feel my face duplicate
Into a part that's filled with happiness
And a part that's filled with hate

As they come and go, they're uncontrollable…you know
Confused and weak I'm left
A part of me thinks I'm lonely
The other part thinks I'm blessed

This poem is different from all the others you have written. Still good though!! I suppose it is a struggle a lot of us go through in our lives. I admire your courage in write about issues that we let pass us by and neglect them to be of much importance. Great Job.

Self at Odds

Your poetry goes from strength to strength, this reminds me of the fight between good and evil, right and wrong, to be or not to be, but which is the 'to be' and which is the 'not to be'?

You have to find yourself before you can find others, but you know this...a good write,

What happened to the long holiday and lack of inspiration?

Well done,

oh the holiday..
good to know you like the "new style" that i'm about to adopt. anyways, the holiday...well i did take a really short one, 2 days or so, and during these 2 days i went out alot, i saw lots of stuff that was happening, hence the inspiration. i couldn't really let it slip that easily. lol thanx alot.
