The Waltz of the Heart

Elegant mist melting IS into SEEMS
Images wake and reality dreams
Nothing is shaped into so many things
Wake with your hands full of gold
Fades like a fairy tale told
Lost as the dreamer grows old

Sleep tight
All night
Don't shed a tear
Soft prayer
"Be there!"
It's only fear

Sunlight still dark inside my head
Wondering something what was it you said
Turning all lost in our empty bed
Alone in a dark wonderland
Reach out in the darkness again
Suddenly I touch your hand

Hold tight
Nothing to fear
Dreams fade
Now you are here

this rhyme really works
not generally a huge fan of rhyme as it is so difficult to do well but i love it here. this poem is intimate and spell-like. I get the sense that you put a piece of yourself in everything you write. i learn more about you with each piece i read. not everyone does that you know. Thanks SP
