Did you know that if you hang out with potheads and smoke pot then get in trouble then you get labeled for the rest of your days as a troublemaker? It's true. I know adults say they remember what it's like being a teenager, and they probably do but nothing is the same anymore. Times change. But adults think it's the same. It's NOT. When i got in trouble for smoking pot my Dad said to me "I smoked pot 3 times in my life and I hated everytime" do u have any idea how much self control it took me to stop myself from saying he must have had shitty pot? And then he tells me that I need new friends because I was getting a reputation of being a pothead. I am a pothead and how come the adults don't realize that I'm not gonna stop. I come to class baked out of my mind everyday and nothing happens. Why can't people open their freakin eyes. Now I'm mad so I'm gonna stop,

So you're angry because your parents are conserned with your well being? I think instead of wondering why people won't open their eyes, you need to first open yours. You need to look at not only the effects the drugs are haveing now, but in the future. A friend of mine got cought holding pot. He was put in jail for a few months, he won't be able to teach like he wanted to, in fact he can't find a job at all because holding and useing is a felony. He can't vote and he can't own a gun. How is he supposed to protect himself?
My Aunt died from doing drugs. When my cousin was little, she would go visit my Aunt(her mother)and my Aunt would be passed out almost every time. If it's control over yourself that you seek then answer my question. How can you have control over your life if you're passed out? People can take advantage of you when you're in that state and you'd never know it.Where's your control?

You need to look at what you're doing to yourself and those around you. Check out some information about the effects of your drugs of choice. I don't know if you use other drugs besides pot, but you really should at least know what you're doing to yourself.

No matter what path you have to walk in life, there are always going to be labels to follow you. You sound young. I checked your profile hoping to find out your age. Lables are just that labels. Not who you are. If you are a good person and you feel good about yourself that is important. Be true to yourself. You have lots of things to yet learn. Never be hard on yourself and try to make the choices where you will have no regrets when you are older. Remeber you are your best friend. Take care of YOU.
