His emptiness finds her heart.
She feels his old soul, the lost part.
Green acres of soul cover dirt untold.
Her green acre visions grow.

How much dirt must move around?
So green acres grow abound
Her green acre visions grow more and more…
Dirt, his soul, what has she found?

Minds may throw stones at further shores.
But they won’t open better doors.
The ancient shores won’t bleed, and hearts must learn.
Learn to sail to greener shores.

Her green acre visions grow.
He adds sun and rain to sow.
He smiled to the sun and rain, he now knows.
Their green acre visions grow.

It would mean sooo much to me if I could understand your interpretation before explaining my own. I'm heart-warmed that you loved it.

several meaning and searching more...
I have a few interpretations. This song has meaning to me on a universal and microsmic scale. I'll do my best to explain myself...

You got the idea... that's great!!! These are first lyrics I ever wrote and shared for that matter.

A woman sees more in man than he sees in himself (more than most others see as well). He's never been able to make anything happen for himself, because he goes about life in the wrong way. She sees him differently, and continues to envision a greater and greater future. He still struggles to be what she saw in the first place.

The struggle, the stuggle, he still hasn't figured anything out, and how painfull for him that she keeps seeing (perhaps expecting) more and more... He is still trying to grow her green acres by moving dirt. He still can't understand what she saw in the first place. But believes she is seeing a real part of him.

He's wasting effort going about things the wrong way. He determines his actions based on calculation. He makes fruitless efforts, instead of heartful cultivation.

He learns it takes a lot more than oneself to actualize great dreams. He cultivates meaningful relationships with others and life... He now knows how to participate in green acre visions, hence he can help them grow.

Perhaps at times, when we think less of others, we should help them actualize their full potential. If they learn to actualize then they will have learned to do the same in return.//

All wonderful and great... but the other interpretation is that this is a woman's fantasy that never comes true. You know that friend that never picks the right men......

What do you think?
What else could it mean?
