A forlorn soul
sits grasping
a pen
to record
changes of
now and then.

Changes and
growth in
mind and heart,
mindful of pain
and where to
start.

A different
wind gathers
and sighs,
dangling there
the soul
writes why.

------
I read your poems
rich and sweet
then lay roses at
your feet.

Changes are taking
place all over, but how to relate without loosing your standpoint I couldn't say. Fighting the changes may take all your time..

Changes...Why?
Char,

Every 'now and then' I see a poem that stops me dead in my tracks, 'why'?

Simple and beautiful, asking the eternal question.

Lovely piece of poetry,

Ivor

Settle For the Unforlorn
I reserve forlorn...
..for the pity-pot

Where I seldom settle
