Standing in the unoccupied space of loneliness.

Blind from the darkness of your surrounding
People stare and ask.
What's wrong with her?
They ask wondering why,
You're bearing the look of a bleeding rose
Detached from its stem.
Looking for a listening ear,
But all there was were insincere thoughts
That seemed to be an aid to your dying feelings.
As long as you know,
I'll always be here.
Here to pull you out of the obscured
Emotion of dreariness.
Betrayal of friends and collapsing connections
With the people you cared.
And getting an earshot of cold words
That hits the veins and paralyzes the flow.
Can't this situation get any worse?
Don't; do not follow the familiar path
No one to go to, it seems hopeless.
Here I offer a shoulder to cry on.
It's 300 miles away from a much
It'll always be there, go and cry,
Until your eyes dry up.
Listening and confiding, I'll be here by your side.
Falling down and no one's around.
Clinging on a tiny thread of happiness.
Forgetting the dark pain and looking ahead
To a brighter day.
Smiling for the best may not always work.
Time goes back and the hourglass falls.
I'll be there when that happens
To catch you from your fall.
Stanza after stanza,
Verse after verse.
Reading each word, doubting an impossible task.
I lay my frail heart on a bed of razors.
Hoping that a broken promise may slit
It and leave a regretful scar.
I'll always be here,
As long as you know.
