Though I may never see your face,
I will know you as no other
in the scent of your skin,
the cadence of your voice,
the touch
of your hand upon mine.
From darkness, I will watch
your myriad tomorrows
and I will weep for my loss
but not in sorrow
for though I may never see your face,
I will always know you.
