Venturing nearer and nearer
To the point of no return
It becomes quite clear
That there is no resolution
For the driving need to do
And to be seen for what it's worth
Further and further it drifts
Until it is lost forever.

Good lord, you're in a mood, eh? But it resulted in a good poem, so that's great I suppose. You convey hopelessness well, and your concision aids your message.
