I know that we do not always see eye to eye on everything,
I know that sometimes we argue for no reason,
I know that sometimes it is hard for us to say what we feel,
I know that sometimes we try to hurt each other by words,
I know that sometimes we fear what each other has to say,
I know that sometimes we try to avoid each other,
I know that sometimes we wonder what each other is thinking,
I know that all the above is just a portion of what we really have,
All the above is just sometimes,
I know that even though all the above may sound bad,
I know that this is just a part of the reason we love each other so much,
Even though it seems that this is all bad,
I know that there will always be more happiness then sadness,
I know all of this,
The reason is as clear as a sunny day,
I am in love with you,
for all the sad time and all the happy times.

Suggestion & a lesson I learned
It is written in MY book of Gods law this key to the human heart: "Out of the abundance of the (human)heart, the mouth speaks."

In thirty three years of marriage, my husband and I have concentrated, with great effort, to bridle and direct our conversation so that only that which is eddifying to the other (who is the other half of who we are) partner. Therefore, there is no fear in us of the other partner. Lack of fear allows our love to continually grow and prosper.

That is not to say we are not different persons, with very different goals and motives: We are different. To us, it means that we esteem each other more than we esteem our own desires, and that keeps the fires raging! I never tire of him! And he can always trust me, and confesses he never tires of me, either. Life (like this) is good.

You know what I like? the fact that you've tried to work through this relationship on your own, owning up to your mistakes, and your partner's mistakes, and realizing that your bond transcends all of it. That's much more worthwhile, honest, and in the end much stronger, than any advice from a silly old book! Bravo!
