I wrote this when I was in a bad place in my life. Don't worry I don't feel like this anymore.

The Worst Feeling
The knife is looking pretty good
They tell me there are reasons not to
All I can find are reasons to
My life it seems is one big failure
The world would be better
if it weren't for me
My friends testify i am a picture
not to be broken
whats the use?
No more failure unless i cut wrong
My existance it seems is worthless
Please God
if you're there don't make this hurt
Or God
be mercyful and take me now
I can no longer stand it
all this pain in my heart
Why can't I do it?
Why won't anyone else?
Remeber to Those who scorned me
I won, I killed myself

-P. B. Hedwig

that is the worst feeling
P.B.,
This is poem flows well, but it's theme is very sad. One thing, I have to disagree with you on a point-when someone dies no one wins.

Sorry

Like I said this was written when i believed this. I no longer believe this and I really couldn't tell you why i believed it in the first place, But as I believe and i think a wise man once told me that if you start in a certain frame of mind and you get out of that state of mind doesn't mean you should change the poem or throw it out. Those were my thoughts at one time and they did hurt a great deal. Just because i no longer feel like that doesn't mean the poem should be thrown away. I am sorry if it depresses you that was not my intention.

Roles
I do strongly believe that every once in a while, it is important to take a look at other points of view regarding life...or lack of it. Although i realize that these words were true when they were written, i would like to point out that several groups have written songs about suicide, just like religious groups have written songs through the point of view of a non-believer. "Every once in a while, you just need to take that walk on the dark side of town." (Ralph Fiennes, Strange Days) Even if i don't agree with the views in this poem, it is important to stay open to them.
