Trying isn't it
And a shame
How we spend our lives
Sucking up and working hard
To impress

Trying to show
To each other
How great and bad
We really are

Trying to impress
Those who deserve
Our pains and those
Who aren't worth
A wave goodbye

Trying to show off
How good we are
And aren't,
As the case may be

Trying, a bit like me
With this poem

Good
You got your point across with this poem, the only thing I will say it needs to be more of finding yourself. It must find a solution of your sadness. It was well written, I just want to see more of the poem, otherwise it was good.
