Amarion

I try to stay open
The world makes me want to build a wall
I call this my defense
The world would like to think that this is my fall
You try to build me up
Make me into what i could never be
Without you in my life
Who really knows what would become of me

I try to live my life without you by my side
I just canít go on doing this without you
I try to do whatís right, but donít have the will to fight
I donít think i can go on doing this without you

You want me to be strong
I just donít know if i have that strength within me
And i know it wonít be long
Before i give up, become what i used to be
And you want me to fight
For these things i used to believe in
Yet i canít make it through the night
I run away from what i used to believe in

I try to live my life without you by my side
I just canít go on doing this without you
I try to do whatís right, but donít have the will to fight
I donít think i can go on doing this without you

We canít let language come between us
We canít let politics bring us down
If they all could have seen us
Theyíd have that weíd never come around
Now the distance between us
Large enough without us making it worse
When i always knew i loved you
Knew i loved you from the first
Knew i loved you from the first

So here i sit again
A sore wrist and burning eyes
I think of where iíve been
And all the things iíve iíve grown to despise
And i canít help but think
What good can really come out of all of this hell
Will i swim or sink
I suppose only time will tell
I suppose only time will tell

I try to live my life without you by my side
I just canít go on doing this without you
I try to do whatís right, but donít have the will to fight
I donít think i can go on doing this without you

I try to live my life without you by my side
I just canít go on doing this without you
I try to do whatís right, but donít have the will to fight
I donít think i can go on doing this without you

Shackled to the wall you want
For Kim, remember i love you
