I started taking happy pills
To block the world out
So far there doesn't seem to be
that much to brag about

They're tricky little buggers
Those chemists in their labs
To think they'll cure society
With pink or purple tabs

I love the color choices
Reminds me of a ring
They brought out in the 60's
"Today you're feeling green"

Now don't you fret dear Alice
no never, don't you pout
The red ones make you larger
The blue ones make you stout

The easel armed with canvas
The palette poised for dabs
Dear artist: Paint a pathway
Perhaps with yellow cabs

The choices nearly endless
The profits, well cha-ching
Wagon sign reads "Potions,
cures every little thing!"
