Laying near you and weeping inside,
so much you still choose to hide.
don't tell me I'm a distraction,
or state your love as a retraction.
my passion flows like a river with no end,
waiting for your love at every twist and bend.
confusion lives and contradictions sting,
it seems that love is an intangible thing.

Put this to music, please!
You must be a singer, if not, you should write for one. This is simply fabulous. I need more. This can not be the end. Now, go back to your pad and write at least three more stanzas to this. Great job!!!

Thanks! Yes, I love to sing, I may not be as good as I think I am though. I have always wanted to be more lyrical than poetic and I have friends that compare my writing syle to that of Mariah Carey, which I take is a compliment. She really gets in there and writes some strong lyrics even if the music isn't as good. You kow what is funny? I deleted exactly three stanzas becasue I like where it ended but I believe it should have been more to.
