When I first saw you, I melted inside.
We were great friends
But the feelings I couldnt hide.

You were everything to me,
Except for my own
Yet still I thought I wasnt alone.

All I wanted to hear was "I love you."
You said it without meaning,
Without knowing at all.
My heart was breaking
As my dreams began to fall.

When we were alone everything was great,
I wanted to freeze the moment so you'd be with me
In front of everyone, your heart was full of hate.
Did you not know how it hurt terribly?
Or did you do it intentionally,
To bring me down and break the heart inside me?

Through all of this, I realized you had no heart.
The only one you had was the one I gave you.
You bettered me and you hurt me, while tearing me apart.

First Glance
It was easy to sympathize with your pain. I wish I could empathize but I can't.

You miss him and that came through loud and clear. There will be others, though, so don't let yourself get down.
