In 6 years, I've sent maybe 2 attachements to Lit.Org members, and that was because they asked me to edit their avatar. Please don't open any attachments that you were not expecting. Not just from lit.org - but from ANYONE. Ther eare several virus, worms and trojans running about that pretend to come from sites you are familiar with, like lit.org, or microsoft. They claim to be useful tools, or items you requested, or administrative messages requiring your action. These are all ploys to get your information or infect your system. Question every email you get as if it were a fake first. If it's important the person who sent it will follow up. Please remember to use caution. It is sad that we even have to worry about this.
