Night arrives, quickly.
Dreams of you linger, softly.
Why can't I tell you?

'He who knows others is learned. He who knows himself is wise.'
-Lao Tzu

'Tomorrow will take us away,
Far from home--
No one will ever know our names,
But the bards' songs will remain.
Tomorrow, all will be known,
And You're not alone,
So don't be afraid
In the dark and cold
'Cause the bards' songs will remain.
They all will remain
In my thoughts and in my dreams
They're always in my mind....
Come close Your eyes;
You can see them, too.'
Blind Guardian,
The Bard's Song: Into the Forest

Why can't you tell her? I enjoyed the read.

Re: hah!
Hah! back at you, Pen! This made me happy. I assure you, it is in reference to a very specific 'her.' Also, your words ring true with me, and I wish I had the *expletive deleted* to tell her right now how I feel...working on that, :) I'm definitely glad I made you think, too. Also, Jeannie, thank you for your kind words. I love you both...Pen, especially, after that comment.
