Fuck your silly bourgeois values
And outdated concepts of normality and safety.
Oh anarchy!
I love you so, the way you make me feel
So warm and manly!
Make fire burn in Buchanan Street and deform dear Donald’s eyeglasses
For fun, my beautiful anarchy!
And on a Saturday night you indulge me with some spite:
How I loathe the asinine women giving head in Sauchiehall Street
To slow men blitzed out of their brains,
Smashing up McDonalds because…they don’t remember the reason,

London is a place I want to be
With the sites I want to see:
Sitting close to strangers,
Feeling lazy
And the smell of bitter coffee
Tempts me greatly.
I’m discovering a curious sense of order…
A calm within the confusion!
An ideal storm
Moves me on and on
Like confetti in the zephyr
Touching London streets.

"Like confetti in the zephyr"
followed Francisco here, I'm like that ...

that confetti line's my favourite. like the "oh Anarchy!" too, is as plaintive as declarative this, and as ecstatic too, actually, and as yearning… all together now “I can’t get no, sat-is-fact-tion…” ;) well, something like that anyway…

wrote a lot about London, but not like this. your poem made me smile. you still even out there, I wonder?
