I remember you
dark as the shadows at night
Hovering over all in sight
thinking you posses it all
thinking that your bigger than us
But I remember you
When you made me fear little thinks lurking everywhere
For I see what you can do
Plus I alone know a different side of you
The side that's so secure and true
That keeps me safe from certain things
But even though your dark and cold
You'll never get me down and low
For I have strength deep within
That even your darkness can't reach within
For this black nubian princess who posses it all
With a flick of a finger and the lick of my tongue
I control what should be done
For I'm a strong black woman
Who remember's you well
Cause I hold the key to my own success
And also the destruction of your disrespect.........
