I loved the first and last lines, but quietude? It kinda jarred the rythmn for me...very elegent other than that, however. =D

totally.....dude.......
I thought that this was an incredibly deep haiku. I pictured quietude being a sort of "blanket" that shadowed the embracing of the hymn. The first line gave me the feeling of a greater power being present, and a great spiritual transaction about to take place. Awesome haiku.
