Chris glanced from side to side, his fingers nervously gripping the length of his pencil with extreme force. He had less then half an hour to finish his report - and time was clicking by. He wasn't sure how to make the Omega Red Nexoplasm using decayed proteins, iron shavings, and re-shocked plasma. All he knew is that he had to figure out, and write his observations. He knew it was possible to just call one of his friends and ask, but his ear dictator was down. And therefore, he wouldn't be able to hear a word his friend said if the call even went through.

"C'mon Chris.... You can think of it. Just..... Just.... THINK!"

Chris was getting frustrated now, and the fact his mom had just called him to dinner didn't make it any better. Chris hopped up with a sigh, hopping into the dematieralization plane and reappearing down in the kitchen. He sat down in his Nylo Notch, which was a chair that floated but could only go to heights by the exact inch. He picked up a handful of the miniscule capsules and tossed them in his mouth, swallowing them down with ease.

"Blah... Chicken. I hate chicken."

His mom gave Chris a stern glance and he shut up. She popped a capsule one by one into her mouth, letting out a satisfactory moan with each. Chris couldn't stand how she ate. One by one... One by one...

"May I be excused?"

Chris wasn't surprised when his mom ignored him. She often did. He then just dropped off his Nylo Notch and headed towards the door.

"Maybe some fresh air will clear my head. I really need to fnish that report!"

He opened up the door, deploying the Plane Reducers. The small missile like objects shot out, disabling the Dementional plane and allowing him to leave the house. He stepped onto his Xim Board, which was a fit-to-size floating board that looked smiliar to a past skateboard, and took off into the sky. He noticed a strange bit of blue smoke coming from the door of a distant house. But he payed no mind. Nothing ever happened around here out of the ordinary. Nothing...

Pushing a lover to love another. Are you turned on?

Dont' take this as too serious of a criticism but, you make a serious effort to highlight advanced technology all through this chapter yet you have him using a pencil at the very beginning. I would have thought that he might use a PDA or some other transcribing gadget. I was just curious if it was intentional or just an oversight, and if intentional why the pencil. I don't mean to be nit-picky it just seems to be an envronmental element that is not in line with the world your creating.

Otherwise this is a nice break from the usual DBZ stuff.

It WAS intentional. I thought it would make a kinda twist in it. Considering it was futuristic, I thought it might be interesting to put in something that is used today.
