He was deceived. All were deceived. Life is everywhere, but the day will come when even the great trees of Nonbenel, ye, even the great river of the west will be silenced, and the land will experience a great and savage darkness. Hope for me is gone. My journey to the last house is ending. My eyes have grown dark, and my heart is as a stone. Fight back! The One is yet to come, so there is still hope. Hold on to Hope! Nice, but. . .
this is nice, but there needs to be more to it. It sounds like the kind of thing a writer will put in her journal as an *idea* for a story. What little there is, is nicely written, though.

It actually is an idea for a story. I decided to publish it to see what you guys might think, and perhaps receive some inspiration.
