Nearly all of the poetry in MONSIEUR L'VAMPYRE AND FRIENDS is the actual poetry as published on the Internet with Prodigy in the early days of the Internet, and later on America OnLine. Most of it is written in the Shakespearean Sonnet form, which is Vee's preferred writing form. Yes, "L'Vampyre" is not how you spell "Le Vampyre," but it is Mssr. L'Vampyre's name and he knows how to spell it.
Most of the vampire poetry is a direct result of encouragement from Maya Angelou, who told Vee Bdosa "You shine when you write about what you love and write well about. You have a delightful humor and sense of irony."
Maya suggested to Vee that he study the intricate rhyming patterns and content of Edgar Allan Poe and the resulting poetry is what you will find in this book.
Vee's book LOVE POETRY, has been awarded the EDITOR'S CHOICE award from the publisher, iUniverse, Inc. who also publishes MONSIEUR L'VAMPYRE AND FRIENDS, and WRITING SONNETS FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND SOUL MATES, all Vee Bdosa books. More are coming.
