There's this body in my bed
Cold and frozen filled with rust
And it seems like he's lost his head
When he talks there's only dust

He was doing time you see
Gettin' over the crimes of life's tide
Down at the rehab place for free
But he's still outside lookin' to slide

But he's just a sad man not a madman
He's a had man not a bad, bad man
He's just a such sad, sad man
Afraid of the sandman, sandman
He's just such a sad, sad man

He's dressed in black just like the dead
Everything he speaks is so unjust
Acts like there's people in his head
Makes me feel like I'm gonna bust

Tried that ride to the other side
That rubber hose didn't do a thing
Caught a break when he tried to hide
Now workin' on fixin' that busted wing

But he's just a sad man not a madman
He's a had man not a bad, bad man
He's just a such sad, sad man
Afraid of the sandman, sandman
He's just such a sad, sad man
He's a sad man he’s not the sandman
He's not the sandman, sandman

Sandman
This one rocked me. Lucid and clean storytelling with a great hook. Good job!
