If I fall,
In the heat of battle
Will you be there?
Ready with care and kiss
And your tender touch
That I will dearly miss
If I rise again,
Will you stay by my side?
Or float like a tide
Sweeping from high to low
And forget me,
With nothing left to show
If I break,
My tears flowing forth
A horrendous torrent of purity
Will you turn away?
Leave me in sorrow
Or would you rather stay?
If I fall,
To my humble knees
Will you be there?
Lift me up with heart
Support me on your arms
Or would you just depart?
If I fall
If I rise
If I break
If I fight
Say you will always be there
With me till the end of time

This flows well and portrays such vulnerability that at first read, it took my breath away. So much emotion emits from this piece -- I just can't say enough it is awesome!!
