Dear Members:

Majestic has a new format! The monthly newsletter is hosted on our server at the following URL:

http://majestic.lit.org/wordpress

Please bookmark the site. Over the next week or so, a link to the monthly newsletter will be added to the front page of litdotorg itself. To reduce email traffic and save bandwidth on our server, we’re reducing the amount of outgoing email; however, for the next couple of months we will continue to send out a courtesy announcement to all members until everyone catches up with our new format.

We’re growing and expanding! And we’re doing all of this to support the vast, talented writing community that exists on the net.

My thanks to each of you for being a valuable member of litdotorg!

New "Majestic" format rawks!
You go ahead on, Ochani! I admit: as a Majestic columnist, I'm partial (completely!) but I think the new format is great! It is duly bookmarked, as is my nearby WordPress blog area (which remains under construction! Pesky day job, gettin' in the way of my blogging!)

(BTW, I left a comment after your column there with a couple techie questions.)

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I know I said I would start that format August 1, but I was so excited about it that I couldn't keep it under wraps. Evolution is not only eventual, it's also a demanding mistress!

Chrispian is the one who inspired me. I started reading his own posts in the archives, and they got me brainstorming and thinking. And then, I emailed him, and he pointed me in the right direction to learn HOW to do these things. The man is teaching me how to fish, instead of giving me fish. (Okay -- that was probably a bad metaphor to use here. Or was it?)

So, in the end the genius is him. He created this. He coded this. He's taught me a bit about how to nurture and improve this. He will always be our technomage!

Now, get blogging and brainstorming. I'm cleaning house. Then, I'm studying. Then, I'm creating the new links to all the wonderful new stuff on our front pages!
