Michael, beyond the salacious
Jon,
John Lennon railed against iconic fame..with, "Working Class Hero".."The Ballad of John and Yoko".."Christ, you know it's not easy.."

Back in the 60's, Bob Dylan, after reading about himself in the press, remarked, "I'm glad I'm not me."

Satirical epitaph aside, Michael Jackson was highly talented. The represented persona/character portrayed on stage, was strikingly at odds with his private persona. He appeared to be searching for an elusive personal identity.

Thus, he will be remembered for his contributions to pop music culture, as well as for his deeply flawed personality.

Robert William

Michael J./Bobby7L....
Separating the "artist" and talent from the personal life is sometimes hard, but yes, Michael Jackson was a visionary, truly THE KING OF POP as they are now calling him.

I remember when you did this...way back when, who knew that he would die so young. I find it sad for his family who loved him and all his fans who appreciated his creative genius.

Blessings,
Karma

TRKTL..
You refer to "Jacko", posted here more than four years ago. This satirical epitaph, with tense changed, would be an updated version.

The "Jacko" thread remains- although with many comments, along with those who made them, now departed.
