Our mind blows away our security with an analystic veiw like the wind.

Our bodies rage and burn, yurning for more in life within like fire.

Society douces our fire with doubts, like water.

Althogether we become down to earth where we started

Category Misplacement, ask Ochani Lele?
I would say this bit of journal entry thought DOES NOT belong in the "opinion" category, it is best to put something of this nature and structure, and simple notation in blogs category. You might want to ask Ochani Lele what makes for an opinion piece and what does not. In my opinion this does not. This reads more like a quick note, a flashing thought, a diary line or two that is of blog quality that does not live up to a true "thought out" opinion, what you have here is an an opinion without any substance or back up, or even history or circumstance to what it has to present or what it is you are talking about?...which really is very blah and and also too short to present any kind of argument or reason for your opinion, etc.

When you are unsure of where to categorize a piece it is best to ask Ocahni Lele (the owner)or another staff member first or even other seasoned veteran writers of Lit.Org...otherwise if a piece is innapropriate for a particular category you will sometimes be notified, sometimes not, giving you a chance to delete and re-post appropriately in any case....

In some cases when a piece is so horrid in it's tech skills writing ability (consistently without any signs of improvement after a few months or years) it will be automatically put into blogs for you if the verifier catches it in time, if not then you can delete and recatagorize or it will be deleted for you.

Thank you.

Better luck next time.

@ DemonicChild and Karma
Final categorization falls on my shoulders, I'm afraid, and I could have easily recategorized it.

I don't feel that "blogs" would be appropriate for this, however. It's definitely not an opinion piece, but it does feel a bit like poetry.

To make things easy on me, I'll just leave it like this. In the future, however, I'll try really hard to make sure things go into the proper categories. I've gotten really good at reading each piece before I post it, but I still haven't gotten it through my head to pay attention to WHERE things are going.

I'll get it right some day. I promise!

@ Everyone
Just a side-note: I would LOVE to see blogs used more often on this site. I know the setup is kind of bland and boring, but maybe, if members find blogging on litdotorg useful, in the future I can beg and plead our techno mage, Chrispian (whose overworked these days as it is, God bless him), to revamp the blogging function.

Wouldn't it be great to have wordpress tied into litdotorg blogs?

I really need to go back to school and learn how to create, design, and manage both webpages and databases.
