our relationship is like a rom/com.
i know, i know it seems like a drama,
but i only hit you when i'm drunk,
so that doesn't really count.
the kids are in bed and i love lucy's
on the tube. i grab your jacket and shove
my hand in the pocket. "What the hell?"
i yell. "My father's phone number?"
the audience cracks-up - fade to black -
roll the tampon commercial. kiss me.

CoffeeWorld--jjdoe typical humour...
CoffeeWorld, this is somewhat twisted humour, but it is very different and very much a jjdoe original...if you read his past works you will see what I mean. There is only one JohnJohnDoe in this arena of off the wall and "interesting" one of kind poetry.
