Many of you have noticed there are fantastic changes happening at litdotorg. Change takes work, hard work, and we need your help!
Specifically, we need volunteer(s) to handle the following at litdotorg:
1. We need book reviewers for the “What’s New Book Review” section of Majestic. Writers read, and writers read a lot. Have you read any good books lately? Try your hand at book reviewing. It’s very easy! Just submit your work as you would any other piece, but submit it to the category “book reviews.” Send me a PM or email (BStuartMyers@gmail.com) making me aware of your new piece. Write “Book Review” in the subject header. I will add a link to your work through AMAZON’S associate program, and your book review will be featured in the next issue of Majestic.
2. We want to revamp EXPOSED!, making it a monthly feature at litdotorg. If you are interested in working on EXPOSED!, or if you want to be “exposed,” please PM or email me to make me aware of your intentions. Put “EXPOSED!” in the subject header.
3. We want to revamp The Write Off, making it a monthly feature of both litdotorg and Majestic. If you are interested in handling The Write Off, or if you are interested in participating as a The Write Off participant, please PM or email me. Put “The Write Off” in the subject header.
4. And, please, forward a link to litdotorg to all your writer friends. Forward your copies of Majestic to all your writer friends. Email me, and I can provide you with HTML code to put in your emails and websites. Suggest that they join litdotorg, and I will add them to the monthly mailing list once they sign up. We are moving to a new, dedicated server (it is being built now), and we will be able to support hundreds upon hundreds, if not thousands, of members on the site at one time. We are growing!
5. Get involved . . . be vocal . . . read, write, and respond. That is the heart of what we do here.
