Hey, Chrispian here with another technical update.

Lit.Org is now safely resting on it's very own dedicated server! Over the last 24 hours we've been prepping the new server and today everything looked good to make the switch.

If you can see Lit.Org's beautiful yellow & blues then you're seeing the new server. If you're seeing this message you're on the new server!

So, what does this mean for you? Nothing has changed on the front end, but under the hood this means Lit.Org no longer shares resources with 35 other medium sized sites making pages load faster and increased reliability. In the long term it also means more control over configuration which means anything we can dream up, we can do.

If you notice any odd bugs drop one of us an email.

Once again, I would like to thank you for all you do. Litdotorg is nothing without you.

And I'm sure Lena agrees -- anything you can dream up that can be done within the confines of our server, feel free! I want the website to reflect your dreams and the users' desires.

Email notification not working?
I just logged in and saw a couple comments and a PM for me that I hadn't gotten email notification for. Did I miss something during the server switch? Just checkin'. Thanks again for the infrastructure improvements.
