Special is as special possesses
Always one of my favourite Lit poets, so great to read you again.

Filled me with the Christmas spirit, this did. And the poem's object reminded me of those smarmy self-righteous types you sometimes find volunteering at the soup kitchen at Christmas. On the one hand, they're doing something good for others, and you want to love them. On the other, you think, couldn't you do it without the smirking attitude? And where the fuck were you six months ago when people were just as hungry?
