-I am lost too...
I found you at the wall,
avoiding words...
and I heard,
your gentle breath,
watched your eyes fall...
then silence left.
And though, so young you may be,
is there room enough,
in your world for me,
that I could calm
your beating heart?
We both are here, a foot apart-
you, a child, and I,
one, who pulls you...
invites you...
to other corners of this room.
These stories you harbor,
draw them for me...
in multi-colored circles
floating free...
flying among stars you sketch,
or see...
But my little friend...
where is your family?
And do they love, who you are?
Regardless of sin, or fall?
Your fragile wings are small,
and shine, in all complexities.
All the reasons a world could give,
to seek out some way, that we can live,
that to one another atones us well,
and sees the heart of the other swell.
With love, compassion...
as a river flows,
so long and pure before this night...
n'er feel the pain, of years ago.
While stumbling through your younger years...
touch your face, wipe your tears...
love, disolves such hearts of stone.
If you can feel, these words...
you are not alone.
