Revisit a memory that you keep
Ever present in your mind.
Deny the constraints the present may place
Relive that special time.
Everybody said that love would fail,
Deliberately tried to discourage
Relationships that made no logical sense
Except that somehow they flourished.
Desiring nothing more than truth,
Remember all that was said.
Each promise, each word of heartfelt passion
Detailed by the color, red.

The following comments are for "Red"

I've read the poem through a few times more than usual before posting a comment, because it's one of those poems that seems at first glance more complex than it is.
There were a few lines and phrases that caught my eye - I particularly liked "Except that somehow they flourished".
The only thing I'm still not sure about is the last line. It's very dramatic, and intriguing, but I still can't see where the colour red fits in. The fact that it's also the title for the poem leaves me trying to work it out. I'm quite curious. :-)
Score 7/10.

Hi, I liked this poem, it felt simple and fresh on the outside, but as Spudley remarks theres a lot more there.
