To know love is to know God.
To know you is to know love.
You bring me eternally closer to Paradise.

All the worlds riches
Cannot compare to the wealth
Of love that I have for you.
All the spendor of the Universe
Cannot hold spark
To the unweilding glory and beauty
That exists within you.
The tallest of mountains
Will wear to dust
Before my love for you
Erodes at all.
The final star in Heaven
Will fade to the abyss
Before my heart no longer beats
To the rhythm of your existence.

You helped me find myself
When I couldn't find me anywhere.
You've always been a companion,
You've always been a confidant:
You've always been the missing link
Between me, myself, and I.

To speak of good times and bad
Would be obvious reiteration,
But one thing I cannot leave unspoken
Is my vast admiration
Of all that exists in you.

You are my friend,
You are my soul--
You are my love.

'He who knows others is learned. He who knows himself is wise.'
-Lao Tzu

'Tomorrow will take us away,
Far from home--
No one will ever know our names,
But the bards' songs will remain.
Tomorrow, all will be known,
And You're not alone,
So don't be afraid
In the dark and cold
'Cause the bards' songs will remain.
They all will remain
In my thoughts and in my dreams
They're always in my mind....
Come close Your eyes;
You can see them, too.'

The Bard's Song: Into the Forest

I think it's lovely. Did you write this for someone? I am assuming you did. If so, what a lucky person! Very beautiful. If it is a female though, you might like to know that the word should be "confidante"... FYI.
I agree with midnightmare.. Those, too, are my favorite lines.
Good luck to you!

It's good to see you here, dear. You know very well who that was written for...*smiles*

Yes, well...
Okay, so what if I did? I'm allowed to patronize (in every sense of the word)! ;-) Besides that, I like the darn thing. Cheers!
