I sat alone, a thousand friends
You came, like the spring rain.
spinning, warming, refreshing
and you woke me.
You were my clown.
I sat alone, I talked to you, I laughed.
You came, like the summer sun.
Glowing, soothing, charming
and you warmed me.
You were my knight
I sat with you, I felt for you.
You came, like the autumn wind.
Sweeping, churning, frightening.
You melted me.
You were my friend.
I wanted you, I talked I yearned.
You came, like the winters chill.
You held out a hand, i took it
It frightened me.
You were my love.
I stepped with you, over the divide.
You came with me a friend no more.
Deeper deeper into the dark.
You said you loved me.
You were in my heart.
I sat alone and looked behind.
You were not with me.
I saw you spinning warming.
I saw the others following.
You were gone.

not bad
Could have used some stanza breaks, to give the reader a chance to breathe every now and then.
Other than that, it's not a bad poem. :-)
Score 7/10.

nice use of repitition. the parallel between the seasonal change and the change in yourself was played out nicely. good work.
