Paradise Found—Tahiti, The Most Beautiful Place on Earth...
Tahiti-and her islands primarily known as French Polynesia,
is distributed over one and a half million square miles of ocean in the Eastern South Pacific. About three thousands years
ago, South East Asian explorers set out to sea from Indonesia
and Malaysia to seek a new land. Their courageous journey would lead them to the many islands of Polynesia where they chose to stay. Therefore, they became the early Polynesians. However, there is a theory that Polynesians may have also migrated from South America.
Then, came the European explorers. Over two hundred years
ago, Captain Bligh sailed the mighty HMS Bounty to its sandy
shores and the breathtaking beauty of its tropical, lush landscape.
Ever since that time, Tahiti has become " Paradise Found."
It's easy to be under the spell of this beguiling isle.
Although Tahiti has changed vastly during the past years and
is fast becoming a very modern resort for holiday tourists, the
island’ sheer beauty remains.
The isle of Tahiti inspired the artistic imagination of
the French Artist, Paul Gauguin. So much in fact, that he
decided to stay and spend the rest of his life under it's magical
spell. Wouldn't you have loved to have seen this island of Paradise
through his eyes when he first landed ?
When you visit the island, you'll enjoy the cool, gentle
breezes of the Pacific. It 's usually sunny and pleasant. There
are some rain fall during the warmer season but no one seems to
care as the sun returns quickly with refreshing trade-winds.
Tahitian and French are the primary languages spoken on the
island. However, English is spoken most everywhere. Language
is certainly not a problem for anyone.
The breathtaking beauty of Tahiti's snow white beaches,
fringed by crystal clear jade water and tropical lush vegetation, awaits you...
This is is the place where you can go back in time, in a different
exotic land, the land of friendly people, the land of black pearls,
the land of tropical flowers of unimaginable beauty, the land of birds with wild colorful plumage and simply, the land of enchantment.
Tahiti is...paradise found.
