-so quick we come to judge and mock
we set our sights upon the soul
and dare we come to hold what's right
how dare us all to stand so bold
as when the pain another feels
shall we take as targets unto ourselves
what are these things which make us kill
and protect the vultures in their spell?

has the giddy, lyric feel of a magic chant, which suits the theme... there's horror here, and it's the horror of the truth.
