Hello lit gang! I have an open spot for the write off. Dareva is not feeling well and won't be able to meet the deadline so we'll be blessed with her writing on another occassion.

Anybody silly (I mean brave) enough to step in??? I will give you a whole 24 hours to write it. What? Is that not enough????

I will also extend the 24 hours to Dirtyoldman. By the way where are you Dirtyoldman?

Viper and Dirty?
I would do it, but I don't believe in competitive writing. There is something about turning writing into a competitive sport that makes me nervous. I love watching others do it. I must be afraid of the judgement that comes with it. That's it! I've just had an epiphany! Viper and Dirty! This will be interesting.

This should indeed be a great write off - viper and Dirty - cannot wait!!! - I'm sure sorry to hear you're unwell, Dar, as I was looking forward to seeing your write off poem. I do hope that there will be another write off and you contribute to that one!! You would have given Dirty a good run for his money!!

Perhaps a special competition for the subtlety-challenged?

Or maybe for the poetically challenged- I thought iambic pentameter might be a device to measure static electricity.

And I don't do sonnets. And often not even full sentences.

Aside from that, this sounds like fun!
