Sittin on the bus
comin from downtown
did you hear that
happen goin round

that man held up
the winn dixie on
clairborne uptown
damn shame

they say he just
wanted some pork
chops and box of
wine

lords knows
what crazy folk do
that man ain't fool
we all be hungry too

i don't see why
they arrest that man
that's sad
i'm just glad he had
his pork chops in hand
