Many men who were not taken in the 'Box will never leave it.
Crippled or the walking hull of what they were.
These men carry with them that which they should not.
They carry a truth that somethings can only be solved by the bullet.
No amount of peace talks or politics can deny it.
These men sit in silent torture having seen what a war has wraught.
If you have never been to this torture you will never understand.
Nor can those who have been there use words you will understand.
They resort to silence because fools cant move past themselves to see.
Then you may ask why someone would go back to it.
It is easy for those who have been there and impossible to those who have not.
If you cant understand you wont until you have experienced it.

A switch that comes on like a light in the dark.
This switch does not reveal the light but darkness.
The darkness that reveals who these hard men are.
The darkenss that makes these men suffer in Silence.

As these men sit in Silent torture let them be.
Do not dissuade them or talk about what they have seen.
For in that day you will see into the darkness as to what has been.
I seldom talk of it as will they that have been there.
These men are alive, but do not test or ask them.
When the darkness is needed it will be there.
