Dreams...

They tell more about us,
Then we ourselves can.

The light and dark of our souls,
All the truth and lies.

Some bring us joy,
Others fright.

Each night they whisper into our minds.
Allowing us no where to escape.

Giving us no chance to cover-up,
Whispering some truth of ours.

-Dras

How true it is...
Lovely piece, Dras.

Simple. Stark. Insightful.

dreams
Even the scray stuff that one dreams is important for like it or not, it's still "us". It's somewhat strange that, when one walks down the street, to think that everyone has their hidden skeletons in that closet that they don't want to discuss. Are humans all so different that our secrets are really much different too? Or do we simply _want_ our secret frights to keep to ourselves so that we have something special, however painful? Neat poem, Dras!

So true
Your poem spoke to me and relieved me of the fears my last dream brought. I felt truly touched and loved it! Beautiful! *wipes tears*
