lake free of ripples,
is serene when
free of thoughts,

when thoughts
cease, the quiet mind
reflects Reality. When
completely still, the

I sometimes imagine myself being adept at meditation to the degree this poem describes. I've never reached that state of serenity. But I will.

I love the idea of mind dissolving.
