Have you ever had your heart broken
too many times to count?
Have you ever built it up
time after time
So the one person you love
the one you let in
can shatter it all
and again you begin
finding the pieces
to put back together
So you can love once more
But what happens when your heart
just seems to dissolve
nothing left but a hole
too big to heal
becoming part of your soul
Where does our mind go
when your heart dissapears?
I'll tell you, i know
I live there
It's a cold place
no light or love
your dreams become nightmares
your reality is pain
because in this place
that is your mind
there is no heart left
to heal these scars
your hope fades
and all that's left
is the face of the one
who broke your heart
and destroyed your sun
So what happens
when a heart breaks too much?
you begin to fade
into a shadow of yourself
until you dissappear completely
and then you die
in that cold scary place
the depths of your mind
revealed by a broken heart

------
~~~dream as if you'll live forever...live as if you'll die today~~~
