What can you say for a nation of people who cannot be taught anything? Or, at least, half of one?
They say that the Presidential candidates are still neck-and-neck. Why doesn’t it bother these people that this President has done nothing but lie to them? Why don’t they care about the fact that he seems to attack the wrong enemies, and continue to do horrible things that have nothing to do with our national security? What part of “Kerry actually fought in ‘Nam and Bush hid from combat with Daddy’s help” don’t these people understand? Since this kind of thing is usually a huge issue with them, why is it all of a sudden so irrelevant to them? What issues can possibly be so important to them that they will maintain the ill-gotten status of a coward and a shirker and a mass-murderer who has lied repeatedly to the Nation? What can possibly shame these people? Does the man have to come out and say he’s homosexual?
I wonder what would happen if… George W. Bush came out like New Jersey’s Governor Jim McGreavy recently did. I wonder what would happen if incontrovertible evidence of homosexuality or some other non-Republican trait came out of the woodwork of the stolen White House and breathed fire in the face of the right-wing public?
I wonder exactly how he would handle it if a tidbit like this came out and was pounced upon by the Press. Of course, it would only become public if the people who owned the corporate press machines willed it. This naturally would require some sort of disobedience on the part of Bush or his father to the agenda they were handed when it was suggested that a mentally retarded man become President of the United States of America.
I cannot imagine Dubya having the stones to come to the podium with this if he didn’t have the balls to go to ‘Nam. I think he would commit suicide behind his desk with a picture of himself in his plane or riding a horse or screwing his daughters. (Come on, of course he did. They’re an East Texas clan and they’re completely amoral people. He’s sacrificed over 1,300 troops to an illegal war he started to make his father a trillionaire so what’s a little family fun to someone who doesn’t think anyone but a WASP is human?)
I of course have no proof that he raped his daughters. If he has debased himself with his own kin, they probably seduced him for money or cars. After their bimbette behavior on national television, I have no doubt of what kind of people those two are.
I do know Bush is a boneless, ignorant murderer and a coward and a liar. He hasn’t visited the grave of a single KIA troop, sailor or airman since he started bombing babies and he still can’t explain the lies he told to justify it all. They’re still hiding the caskets from the media and they’re still withholding the funds to provide the AK-proof vests to over 40,000 combat troops. Why isn’t he on top of details like that?
He doesn’t care about these things because he doesn’t care about anything but his own safety and following his dad’s orders. If Republicans are comfortable with having a proxy in the White House doing illegal, amoral things to people who have done us no harm, just to make themselves feel like John Wayne is still alive, that’s great for them. For those of us with a conscience and who value the rest of the Human race and their children, it is not at all a good thing. We know we have a criminal in power who may well still be in power next year, because we have at least 150 million people who can’t challenge their own beliefs because they’re afraid of ostracism.
I know that there are too many Americans who feel utterly disconnected from the rest of Humanity when they have no problem with keeping a man in office who is only two generations descended from willing collaborators of Adolph Hitler. Does money make white trash crazy? They accuse Black people of this all the time, but who is it who steals billions from all of us? I read a column on a Black sociopolitical site (http://www.blackcommentator.com) that suggested that if Black people should be kept away from the reigns of power, White people should be kept away from other peoples’ money. Where does this take us? Dubya’s older brother and election fraud co-conspirator Jeb Bush, who is of course the Governor of Florida.
You might remember Jeb’s involvement with Banking scams back in the ‘80’s. He was shown to be guilty as hell, and admitted his misdeeds, yet he got a slap on the wrist because of who is father is. The right-wing electorate of Florida made him Governor, and he has stayed in that position with their help and a little bit of the same magic that helped his retarded younger brother become fuhrer.
Do we really want people like this in power over us, and effectively the rest of the world? Is there nothing wrong with people, apparently a multitude of morons marching in numbers of roughly 150 million, who think nothing of this criminality? Don’t these people think the system should work for everyone living in it, with as much consensus as possible? Do they really like disenfranchising Black voters ala Jim Crow?
